Couples Choice Awards 2018
I am beyond grateful to have been selected for the 2018 Wedding Wire Couples’ Choice Award once again. This is my third year of receiving this honor, and it truly means the world to me because photographers are selected solely based on the reviews of their wedding couples. Therefore, a huge shout-out is in order to all the brides and grooms I worked with, both in Chicago and Kansas City in 2017!
According to Wedding Wire, "Honorees represent the top 5% of wedding professionals nationwide for their excellence in quality, service, responsiveness, and professionalism within the wedding industry." To be a part of this group is a huge honor!
Of course reviews aren’t all about us vendors tooting our own horn; there is enormous value in client reviews in Wedding Wire and elsewhere. The images from your special day are irreplaceable, and typically, there are no “do-over’s” when it comes to your wedding photos. Think carefully about the flowers, the cake, the food and the entertainment. What do you envision your day to look like? I encourage all engaged couples to do your research, read reviews and use the information that’s out there to find a photographer, a florist, a venue that you trust. The relationships formed between you and those who play a part in creating your wedding can ultimately have a huge impact on the outcome of the photos that will tell your story to future generations.
Whether you are planning a large, all day event, or a small, intimate ceremony, take some time to read some reviews from those couples that have tied the knot before you. If you’re recently married, you can do a huge service to those newly engaged couples by taking the time to write reviews of your wedding vendors!

Lindsey said... Pickman Photography is simply the best! I had my first experience with Pickman Photography about 7 years ago when their photographers shot my sisters wedding. The pictures turned out beautifully. Since then, Caleb and the other photographers have continued to develop their skills and techniques and continue to capture every beautiful moment on film. The photographers are professional and talented. They are able to have fun but maintain order and keep the flow of events on track. Caleb was able to assist me on some basic wedding planning decisions and offered great advice. Overall if you are looking for photography/videography Pickman Photography is top notch; while wedding planning can be stressful, they'll make that detail a real pleasure!
